Designer of the iconic Kevi task chair in 1958, Jørgen Rasmussen graduated from Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1955 and 1957.

Jørgen went on to establish an architectural office with his twin brother and collaborator partner LB.  During his career Jørgen invented the double- wheel castor for which he was awarded the ID prize. Today the double -wheel castor is an iconic Danish product used on almost every task chair.  Recently Jørgen unveiled the four leg Kevi which was designed originally with the Kevi task chair releasing it to the public 50 yrs. later.

Jørgen Rasmussen is still actively designing with the same enthusiasm and dedication as when he first began his career
